Fox have recently released the new Evol air can from their new DPS shock as an upgrade for existing Float shocks. I’ve been using the Float X for 6 months now so I was keen to try one. The Evol can has a similar volume in the positive chamber to the existing Float air can. The chart above is relevant for finding the starting air pressure for Cannondale Lefty forks from 2016 and 2017 model years including the Oliver on the Slate, Lefty 2.0 on the F-Si and Scalpel, Habit, Bad Habit, OLAF fork on the Fat CAAD fat bike, and SuperMax 2.0 on Trigger and Jekyll. I only weigh 140 with gear I’m at 165psi on a Yeti SB4.5, the shock seems to require a lot more pressure than the DPS EVOL that I took off, I could get the correct sag around 130psi on that shock. From what I’ve read it’s normal to need higher PSI in the DPX2, my problems were from not equalizing the air chamber.
